The leader of the Umbrella body of Yoruba Self-Determination Groups, Ilana Omo Oodua, Professor Banji Akintoye, has said Nigeria is a failed state under the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration. Akintoye made this known in a statement issued by his spokesman on Wednesday, Naija News reports. He told the United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, that Fulani herdsmen and terrorists have destroyed the Southern and Middle Belt regions. Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State has fined the All Progressives Congress (APC) N5 million for contravening the provisions of the state’s Executive Order 3 of 2022. Naija News reports that Executive Order 3 prohibits political parties from using public places such as schools, parks, and markets among others for political activities without obtaining due clearance from the state government.
